When closed, the air (optionally with low-noise fans) circulates from top to bottom. This ensures a constant supply of fresh air with a noise reduction of 53 dB. The existing window is closed in this state.
When the existing window is open, a sound reduction of 36 dB (silenzio + double insulating glazing) is achieved.
silenzio is already being used in Munich to reduce noise and is supported by the
“Living without noise” funding program of the City of Munich.
It allows for good ventilation while reducing noise from busy roads.
Thanks to its special design, living spaces also remain
quiet when the window is open, which significantly improves living comfort along noisy streets.
